This is just a video I found of someone that made a mod for Crysis.
I wont get too much into detail, because you might aswell just watch it. I thought it was pretty cool.

Couldn't find a youtube link, so just watch it from here.

I had a squiz, but I didnt really notice much difference between that and the original engine in Oblivion... except for maybe the lack of doors in some places Smile

lol, Its obviously not finished, and I believe it wont be. But after playing Crysis and playing with the sandbox editor you can definitely see the cryengine in there opposed to the havok physics engine used in Oblivion.

I've used this site to look at a few crysis mods in development for a while now, such as coop mods, tomb raider mods, stargate ones etc, also has custom made maps and stuff which aren't too bad, but arn't the best.

One program thats good for map testing and devloping is called Cry tools i think, pretty much has a userfriendly interface that lets you select a stage and immidately launch it and other stuff.

Another one is ReadyMP, which checks your files and makes sure non of them will piss of punk buster, good for online which i know most can't do due to the borrowiness, but still good to see if you have all the correct files and registries, though after the latest patches it seems to always say there is a problem with mine.

ALLLLSO... i use this mod for the game, called cuban or something, it pretty much enables DX10 settings and other stuff, mainly for shaders and shadows, but tweaks it to run at high setting framerate(well thats for me, you have the option to turn what settings you want during installation, such as low, med, high, ultrahigh etc).
